“O maior concerto de Rock n´ Roll da história, o Live Aid, pela primeira vez em DVD. O primeiro evento musical global, que aconteceu nas cidades de Londres e Filadélfia no dia 13 de julho de 1985 foi assistido pela TV por mais de 1,5 bilhão de pessoas pelo mundo. Esses concertos geraram entre donativos e royalties mais de 140 milhões de dólares para a luta contra a fome na África. Apelidado de ´The Global Jukebox´, Live Aid foi descrito pela mídia mundial como ´The greatest show on earth´ (O maior show da Terra) e ´The day rock music changed the world´ (O dia que o rock mudou o mundo). Live Aid foi citado como o segundo evento mais relembrado em duas gerações e recentemente definido popularmente como o maior evento nos 50 anos de história do Rock´n´Roll. Mesmo hoje, depois de 20 anos, nenhum evento conseguiu superar a lista de super stars que participaram do evento, uma reunião única de estrelas que se uniram para contribuir e mudar definitivamente a posição do mundo musical em relação aos mais necessitados, abrindo os olhos de governantes do mundo inteiro para a situação na África.
